In the real world, even the largest soundwave can only destroy glass and rupture eardrums, but cannot destroy metal or concreate of any kind. However, they are fundementally different in that they fire waves of compressed sound that travel very quickly to a maximum range of 200m. Sonic weapons function similarly to kinetic weapons - they fire in a flat trajectory and cannot penetrate shields. The damage caused by BLASTCHARGEs can bypass Damage Resistance and other types of shielding, however it cannot bypass aegis or absorber shields if the explosion occurs outside of the shield.
BLASTCHARGE causes additional damage in a much larger blast radius around its target, potentially damaging other targets that are in close proximity to it. These weapons' projectiles can also inflict BLASTCHARGE accumulation on its target. These are seldom seen, and most are burned up in Earth's upper atmosphere before anyone on the ground can see them. However, fireballs are a natural occurring space phenomenon, and simply known as meteors. In the real world, fireball based weaponry do not exist and are not encountered in daily life. These fireballs have a maximum range of 500m, but can damage targets at 510m due to its splash radius. Dealing damage in a moderate blast radius and travel to its target much quicker than flamethrowers can, requiring less adaptable aiming.
These weapons fire projectiles engulfed in fire (which could be balls of high explosive material set on fire) that explode upon impact. However, they are a hybrid between rocket and flamethrower based weaponry. Fireball weaponry act in a similar manner to Flamethrowers.
